Job Title: Cyber Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Systems Engineer to join our team at MJ Security Systems Ltd. As a Cyber Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, upgrading, and installing security systems in residential, commercial, industrial, and educational sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and troubleshoot hardware and software to ensure system compatibility
  • Support customers in using their new security systems
  • Participate in the engineer standby call-out rota for 24-hour emergency services
  • Report to the Technical Director

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in maintaining and servicing security systems
  • Experience with CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm Systems, and ideally Fire Alarms
  • Understanding of network security protocols and best practices
  • Knowledge of Scantronic, Texecom, Eaton, Honeywell, HiK Vision, Adpro, ACT, and Paxton equipment
  • Strong understanding of project and H&S principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues
  • Clean UK driving licence
