About the Job:

  • This is a permanent full-time position based at our Barrow-in-Furness site.
  • You will be part of the Platform Systems Governance and Assurance team, which is responsible for managing governance and assurance activities on behalf of the Test & Facilities Capability (T&FC).
  • You will play a key role in delivering strategic objectives and driving transparency, standardisation, and consistency within the Submarines network and systems.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Educated to degree level in a STEM related subject.
  • Chartered engineer or working towards.
  • Proven experience of managing engineering and quality governance activities within a complex software environment.
  • Capable of developing, prioritising and driving a detailed programme of work across multiple facilities.
  • Understanding of Engineering Lifecycle Management, Management Plans, and Business management Systems and Operational Frameworks.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001.
