Cyber Security Trainee Placement Programme

Program Overview

The Cyber Security Trainee Placement Programme is a comprehensive training and placement programme designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the IT industry, specifically in the field of cybersecurity. This programme is ideal for those looking to transition into a career in IT or cybersecurity, or for those who are new to the industry and want to gain industry-recognized certifications.

Program Structure

  1. Accredited Online Training

Participants will undergo accredited online training, which includes a selection of professional, industry-recognized courses from CompTIA. This training is delivered via multimedia-rich video tutorials, practice labs, presentations, and quizzes, allowing participants to study from the comfort of their own homes. Participants will also be assigned an expert tutor and a support mentor to guide them throughout their training.

Practical Training

Participants will gain practical experience by using practice labs, which enable them to practice and master the skills they have learned. This combination of theoretical and practical skills is essential for success in the IT industry.

Official Exams

Participants will then sit the CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ exams to gain official certifications, which are recognized not only in the UK but worldwide. The CompTIA A+ is the most sought-after certificate for entry-level IT roles, and the Network+ provides a foundation-level understanding of networking.

IT Technician Placement

ITonlinelearning will work with participants to secure their first role as an IT Technician. Ideally, participants will need to gain two years' experience in this role before progressing into a cybersecurity role. While working as an IT Technician, participants will receive additional training, which will qualify them to move into the cybersecurity field.

Career Advancement

Once participants have completed the mandatory training and gained two years' experience in the IT industry, they will be ready to move into higher-paying cybersecurity roles. ITonlinelearning's recruitment support team specializes in the IT and cybersecurity space and will provide participants with the necessary support to secure their dream job.
