The Sandwell School Health Nursing team is innovative, unique, and motivated, engaging with populations to develop community knowledge and skills. You will work within a corporate team, providing a health promotion and illness prevention service, contributing to health needs assessments with individuals, families, and groups.
This role offers the chance to work in a community setting, developing your skills and expertise while supporting the corporate team within the School Health Nursing Service.
You will be part of a dynamic team working towards seamless collaboration with partners to improve the lives of local people and reduce health inequalities.
Job Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include ensuring safe delegation of work to support staff, reporting concerns to the Team Leader, managing your time, and prioritizing your workload.
You will work as a member of the School Nursing team, participating in health needs assessments directed by the School Nurse Specialist Practitioner.
In addition to the main duties, you will undertake other tasks commensurate with this grade of post in agreement with the relevant line manager.
You will be expected to adhere to NMC 'The Code' (2018) and work within the standards set in The Code (NMC, 2018).
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent clinical and professional engagement, along with relevant experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Registered First Level Nurse
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD)
- Teaching qualification ENB 997/998, D32/33 or SLAIP
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
