Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional GCP Solution Architect who is passionate about data solutions and Google technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing architecture for data-focused GCP projects, partnering with other solution architects to assess solution alignment, and driving proposal writing, solution direction, pricing, and costing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales teams to formulate and execute sales strategies that exceed revenue objectives
  • Define performance goals and metrics for proposed solutions and understand Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for solutions
  • Own solution development as a liaison between sales and delivery teams, serving as a technical liaison between sales, clients, delivery, and support teams up to and including contract negotiations

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences, preferably with GCP Certification or equivalent cloud technology expertise
  • A deep understanding of architecture processes, including reviews and design authority
  • Strong expertise in AI/ML technologies, preferably including Generative AI, and experience with automated decisioning via AI, ML, or declarative rulesets
  • Knowledge of automation tooling such as DevOps to facilitate CI/CD approaches to Infrastructure as Code (IaC), as well as knowledge of other Cloud Platforms and Hybrid Cloud
  • Knowledge of IaaS implementation, Availability sets, GCP Networking concepts, DNS, Load Balancing, HA, DR, API architectures, UI frameworks (e.g., React, Angular), databases (e.g., Postgres, BigQuery), and data processing technologies (e.g., Spark, BQ SQL)
  • Strong skills in areas such as Docker, Kubernetes, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS to name a few

Benefits

This exciting opportunity comes with a competitive salary range of £90,000 - £100,000 per annum, plus 10% bonus, pension up to 6% contributory, health insurance, life assurance, and more. Based in London, with part-remote and UK-wide options available.
