About the Role

Fortem Cares is seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team at our Birmingham branch. As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of bricklaying to a high standard, with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out bricklaying work to a high standard, with minimal supervision
  • Take ownership of work, aiming for 'First Time Fix' on all jobs while remaining within budget and time parameters
  • Operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas
  • Perform maintenance and renewal work on properties

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license
  • Previous bricklaying or building experience
  • CSCS H&S Operative Test
  • Certificate and CSCS Blue Card

Desirable Criteria

  • Certificate in Bricklaying or NVQ 2 in Bricklaying or equivalent
  • Experience working in the social housing sector
