Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our Emerging & Scaled business team in Northern Europe. The E&S team focuses on serving mid and small sized businesses with our advertising solutions, helping them reach their audience and achieve their marketing goals on the Spotify platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a growth strategy for the E&S business, staying informed about regional trends and effectively communicating these insights to the team.
  • Lead and manage a team of Sellers, providing coaching, development, and setting revenue quotas and critical metrics to ensure team success.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key E&S clients and agency partners, serving as the main point of contact and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement measurement strategies based on key performance indicators to drive success and demonstrate the value of our advertising solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, translating them into strategic opportunities to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in the digital media space in Northern Europe, 5+ years in managing a team in the Northern Europe.
  • Proven ability to lead meetings with multiple senior partners.
  • Pre-existing strong relationships with marketers/clients across Northern Europe.
  • Alignment with Spotify's values and a passion for Spotify products and marketing.
  • Extensive knowledge of performance marketing, including industry trends, measurement, attribution, and competitive product knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust with C-level clients by understanding their business needs.
  • Deep knowledge of digital advertising buying and ad tech platforms.
  • Competency in hiring, team building, and mentorship.
Work Environment

This role will require some in-person meetings, but will also allow for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come into the London office 3 times per week.
