About the Role

The Nutrition Finance function sits across both the commercial and financial structures at THG. A unique function offering the opportunity to business partner across all areas of the division, helping to drive trading performance and profitability, support growth and innovation, as well as delivering strong financial control and reporting.

This role is within the Nutrition Division's Finance function, reporting into the Head of Finance and offers exposure to the division's online brands.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial control and ownership of the month-end processes within the Nutrition division.
  2. Commercial reporting and analysis.
  3. A proactive approach to P&L performance, acting quickly on both risks and opportunities.
  4. Business partnering with commercial teams to understand areas of profit improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
  5. A confident mindset, comfortable in dealing with a wide range of non-financial key stakeholders.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to work effectively with other finance teams within the divisions, including FP&A and SSC.
  7. Identifying and carrying out training of the finance team in line with their objectives.
Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (preferably ACA, CIMA, or ACCA).
  • Experience in management accounting and financial control, preferably in the retail sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
