Senior National Account Manager Opportunity

A leading search and selection business, The Advocate Group, is seeking an experienced Senior National Account Manager to join their team in the FMCG industry. As a key member of the business, you will be responsible for managing and developing key accounts in the convenience sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive brand growth and increase profit across key customer accounts.
  • Analyse account performance and competitor activities, making adjustments as necessary to ensure continued growth.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders, including the Channel Controller and colleagues across business units.
  • Create and implement promotional plans to ensure product availability and drive sales.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in National Account Management within the convenience or grocery channels.
  • Demonstrable experience in alcohol or FMCG sales, with a strong track record in managing brands.
  • Excellent P&L management, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with experience in joint business plans and category management.
