We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Assistant to work in our laboratory, providing pre-analytical services and supporting our team of scientists. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

About the Job

The Medical Laboratory Assistant will perform the pre-analytical preparation of both routine and specialized investigations, which is a key function of the laboratory. These tasks include operating manual, automated, and computerized systems, processing, aliquoting, and storing samples, and maintaining and upkeeping of laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual, automated, and computerized systems to support Biomedical and Clinical Scientists.
  • Process, aliquot, and safely store samples for specialist testing.
  • Perform simple automated testing.

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A science subject at GCSE level or equivalent.
