Role Summary

We are seeking a Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our team at Excell Supply Ltd.

The successful candidate will provide support to both children and teachers in primary schools across the Chester area. This role involves creating a safe and nurturing environment for children, fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, and observing and assessing children's progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care and supervision for children across primary
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Observe and assess children's progress and communicate with parents/guardians
  • Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, behaviour, and development
  • Support the teacher by delivering and implementing activities

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear criminal background check
