Sr. Financial Strategist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Financial Strategist to join our team in London. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our financial strategy across UK and Hungarian entities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the financial vision for our UK and Hungarian entities, aligning with long-term business objectives and growth targets.
  • Drive the financial planning cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to provide actionable insights to the leadership team.
  • Implement best-in-class financial systems and processes to streamline operations and enhance accuracy across regions.
  • Manage year-end and interim UK audit.
  • Develop and implement risk management frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks across both regions.
  • Establish strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and reduce financial exposure, particularly in the UK and Hungary.
  • Advise the leadership team on financial risks and help implement strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  • Act as the key financial liaison for both internal and external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial partners.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Extensive experience leading financial operations in high-growth companies, preferably across international markets.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and experience managing multi-region financial accounts.
  • Expertise in managing P&L, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting in high-growth companies.
  • An advanced degree (MBA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred.
