Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Minibus Driver to join our team at JT Recruit Ltd, working in West Bridgford with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

As a key member of our team, you will provide safe and reliable transportation to and from school, operating during school term time only.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for transporting children with SEND, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. You will need to maintain a clean and tidy vehicle, adhere to traffic regulations, and report any incidents or concerns promptly.

Responsibilities

  1. Safely transport children with SEND to and from school
  2. Ensure all children are securely fastened into their seats and wheelchairs (where applicable)
  3. Drive the minibus in a responsible and safe manner, adhering to traffic regulations and local guidelines
  4. Maintain a positive and supportive environment for the children on board
  5. Report any incidents, concerns, or vehicle maintenance needs promptly

Requirements

  • A valid minibus driving licence (D1 or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient attitude
  • Enhanced DBS (to be carried out by employer)

Benefits

We offer an estimated annual salary of £16,900 - £18,400 (£13.50 - £15.00 per hour), depending on experience, for this part-time position.
