About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide high-quality psychological assessments and interventions for children and young people, working under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist. The role involves collaborating with other staff members to assess clients and contribute to multi-disciplinary reviews.

Responsibilities
  • To provide psychological assessments and interventions for children and young people, as agreed with the supervising psychologist.
  • To work collaboratively with other staff members to assess clients and develop care plans.
  • To contribute to multi-disciplinary reviews and support the development of audit and research projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in psychology, preferably with experience in child mental health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to workload management.
