We are looking for someone who can effectively manage their time, collaborate well with team members, and thrive in a dynamic environment while maintaining a structured engineering approach.

  • Collaborate with the senior engineering team to develop and test concepts for the microwave reactor and other essential sub-systems.
  • Create general assembly drawings for the reactor and balance of plant sub-systems, integrating supplier drawings into internal files.
  • Conduct mechanical stress calculations to ensure accurate specifications.
  • Manage technicians in the mechanical fitting of components, including generating work instructions.
  • Support staff in operating equipment, including fault finding, data logger analysis, and system performance evaluation.
  • Assist the engineering team in designing, specifying, and sourcing components for hydrogen generators.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components for hydrogen applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
  • Conduct technical documentation and generate work instructions for technicians.
  • Support the engineering team in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in mechanical engineering.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience in an engineering design environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software packages for drawing creation and management (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Proficient in writing concise technical documents.
