Your Role

As an Optometrist, you will play a key part in creating an environment that combines clinical and operational excellence. You will work in partnership with an Optical Manager to develop new patient services, ensuring we offer our customers the most current and accessible services to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Screen patients and coach and train the wider team
• Maintain standards on the department
• Develop and implement new patient services
• Work in partnership with the Optical Manager to achieve clinical and operational excellence

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a fully qualified optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC). You will also be a registered performer with your NHS area team or health board, and have MECs or WECs accreditation (or be willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining Asda Stores Ltd). You will be on track to meet the statutory points requirement for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and have the skills and passion to deliver a memorable customer experience.
