We are seeking an Industrial Technician to join our established Engineering function at Radar Recruitment. The successful candidate will have experience of working in FMCG and with packing/packaging lines, with a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical maintenance and experience of automated packing/packaging machinery. They will also have a proactive approach to maintenance and be able to drive improvements on the lines through continuous improvement/project work.
Key requirements include:
- A recognised qualification in Electrical/Mechanical maintenance.
- Experience of FMCG - food/drink manufacturing preferred.
- Automated packing/packaging machinery experience.
- A planned and proactive approach to maintenance.
- Ability to drive improvements on the lines.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £60,000-£70,000 per annum, depending on experience. The shift pattern is 4 weeks, 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights (12 hour shifts) with opportunities for overtime and good company benefits.
