At the Royal Society of Chemistry, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Philanthropy Lead to join our fundraising team. Located in Cambridge Science Park, this pivotal role will focus on cultivating and managing relationships with individual donors to support our mission of advancing excellence in the chemical sciences.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving income targets by developing compelling proposals and securing strategic support for key projects. This will involve working closely with colleagues across the RSC to leverage our mission and maximize income and support for our charitable activities.

  • Achieve Income Targets: Take ownership of fundraising targets and work collaboratively with colleagues to develop persuasive proposals and secure material, financial, and strategic support for priority projects.
  • Manage Legacies and Bequests: Oversee the management of legacies and bequests, ensuring their effective use to support the RSC's charitable objectives.

We offer a competitive salary of ££55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a flexible working arrangement that allows for hybrid working.
