Job Title: Polish Language Teacher to Adults

Job Overview:

International House London is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Polish teachers to join our Foreign Languages team. The role involves teaching adults on our evening face-to-face courses at our school in Covent Garden.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and deliver high-quality Polish language lessons to adult learners.
  2. Create engaging and effective lesson materials and activities.
  3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  4. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere in the classroom.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of courses and maintain consistent teaching standards.

Requirements:

  1. Proficient Polish speaker.
  2. Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  3. Initial teaching qualification.
  4. Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
  5. Must have the right to work in the UK and be currently based in the UK.
  6. Possess a CLTA, CELTA, Trinity TESOL or DELTA.
  7. QTS.
  8. Hold a degree in Polish Language and Literature or a degree in Modern Languages (English, Spanish, German, French, etc.).

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position. Most lessons are in the evening from 18.30 -20.30, once a week. We also have some classes in the afternoons, Friday evenings and Sunday mornings.
