About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Assistant to join our team at Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital. As a Radiology Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our diagnostic imaging department.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate our high-quality ultrasound service, ensuring a high level of patient care, respect, and dignity.
- Undertake appointment bookings and work closely with our Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers, and Administration team.
- Be involved with clinical audit and other administrative duties relating to your role.
- Accurately input data into radiology software CRIS and patient management software PIMS to ensure correct billing of patients.
- Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
Requirements
- Level 2 Qualification in Healthcare.
- Experience within a work environment, preferably within a customer-focused or people-focused setting.
- Basic IT skills.
- A caring nature – to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
- Willingness to undertake non-clinical tasks to ensure the safe and effective running of the Radiology department.
- Work well within a close, supportive team. Willing to go the extra mile to ensure the patient has a positive experience.
- Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
