Technical Sales Manager Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Orion. As a key member of the sales department, you will be responsible for developing client relationships within the rail industry and introducing new digital marketing tools to expand our database and business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for our existing client base.
  • Analyze trends to drive business growth.
  • Manage multiple accounts and develop new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research in the rail sector.
  • Lead generation and introduce new digital marketing tools.
  • Develop a technical strategy for social media platforms.
  • SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT
  • General support across the technical and sales teams.
  • Respond to consumer and customer queries in a professional manner.

Required Experience:

  • A strong background in the rail industry.
  • Digital marketing expertise.
  • Technical understanding and strategic thinking.
  • Market analysis and research skills.
  • Ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Bids and Proposal experience.
  • Account and Stakeholder management.

Package:

  • Competitive salary: £45,000 - £55,000.
  • 23 day holiday allowance plus bank holidays.
  • Pension contribution.
  • Onsite parking.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, core office hours.
