Octane Recruitment is a leading agency specializing in Automotive, Motor trade, Engineering, OEM and related industries.
We are seeking an experienced Master Technician to join our client's main dealership in Motherwell.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles makes and models.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
- Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
- Some experience as a vehicle technician and/or a relevant qualification
- MOT qualification (a huge bonus)
- A person who takes great pride in their work
- Incredible attention to detail and an eye for spotting things others cannot
- A full valid UK driving licence
- A stocked toolbox that can be used for work
