About the Role

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex mechanical products from scratch, including CAD modeling, drawing preparation, and manufacturing capabilities. You will work closely with our team of mechanical, test, and simulation engineers to ensure the successful development of our air-breathing ion propulsion system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex mechanical products, including CAD modeling and drawing preparation
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure successful development of the air-breathing ion propulsion system
  • Develop and implement high-tolerance design principles and manufacturing capabilities
  • Conduct structural analysis using FEM software and ensure quality control
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, structures, loads, joints, and mechanical components
  • Experience in CAD modeling, drawing preparation, and manufacturing capabilities
  • Knowledge of FEM software and structural analysis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
