About the Role

The Catastrophe Analytics team at The Emerald Group is a leading force in Europe, renowned for its expertise in natural disaster analysis. As a key member of this team, you will play a vital role in providing clients with insightful advice on their exposures to windstorms, floods, and earthquakes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client portfolios analysis using catastrophe analytics, applying reinsurance structures to optimize risk management.
  • Collaborate with reinsurers, brokers, and actuaries to understand exposures, review modelling results, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Participate in corporate practice groups and committees related to cat modelling and risk management.
  • Advise clients on potential incurred losses, post-event, and on risk management basis.
  • Contribute to the development of proprietary analytical tools.
Requirements
  • BSc or higher qualification in finance, statistics, science, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in analytics for insurers, reinsurers, or similar financial services.
