About the Role
As an Apprentice Field Service Engineer at Yunex Traffic, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our traffic management systems. Your primary responsibility will be to install, test, and maintain electrical systems, including traffic signal equipment, to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of traffic signal assets, including controllers, wiring, and ancillary equipment, in accordance with site specifications and quality standards.
- Performing electrical tests and pre-commissioning activities to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Liaising with customers and other contractors to coordinate site work and ensure effective communication.
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed, including site reports and test results.
- Participating in continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements
- 4 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications.
- A keen interest in engineering and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to travel to multiple sites across the UK for training and work assignments.
