Job Description

As a Regional Property Surveyor at Mobile Broadband Network Ltd (MBNL), you will play a crucial role in the estate management and implementation of property and planning strategies across our network. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that partners and suppliers adhere to agreed guidelines when undertaking work or upgrades on our property estate.

The Regional Property Surveyor will be responsible for managing this workload through external professional advisors and main contractors, as well as internal departments. You will be responsible for the day-to-day estate management in your allocated sites, providing estate management direction and guidance to specific cohorts of sites.

This is a hybrid role, and you will be based at our Reading offices at least 2 days per week. You will act as a first-stop reference for property-related matters, including New Code Agreement renewals, cabling wayleaves, and providing support to Shareholders, Suppliers, and Contractors in the implementation of ECC reform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support internal and external stakeholders in Acquisition, Legal Deployment, and Transmission functions.
  • Provide pragmatic, prudent, and consistent advice to third parties to ensure the cost-effective implementation of site acquisition.
  • Property knowledge and experience in an Operator, Managed Service Supplier, or Small Works Contractor environment or for a Chartered Surveyor in a commercial property, professional services, or valuation capacity.
  • Property-related qualifications, such as knowledge of Code (Digital Economy Act).
