About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Content Writer to join our team at Future plc. As a key member of our Content team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging content that meets the needs of our audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Develop and write compelling content that follows SEO best practices, prioritizing according to our needs.
  • Content Improvement: Enhance our content to improve rankings and brand visibility, keeping it fresh, accurate, and user-friendly.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with market news and trends around personal finance, broadband, and energy, using this to influence content.
  • Expert Voice: Establish yourself as an expert voice in insurance and personal finance, providing accurate and informative content.
  • Content Compliance: Ensure all content is compliant with FCA guidelines and meets our brand's tone of voice.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience writing for an insurance brand, including a portfolio of bylines.
  • Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the insurance industry and FCA guidelines.
  • Content Management: Experience proof-reading and editing content within a style guide.
  • SEO Expertise: Familiarity with SEO best practices and content management systems.
  • Research Skills: Ability to conduct research to find answers and use data in your copy.
What We Offer
  • Internal Job Family Level: E5
  • Salary Range: £29,000 - £32,000
  • Hybrid Working: Three days from our Cardiff Office, two from home
  • Contract Type: 9-month fixed-term contract
