Job Summary

The Director's Personal Assistant for Community Health and Social Care provides a comprehensive administrative and secretarial support service to the Director. This role requires a sound working knowledge of both the Council and NHS, as well as the political environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Director.
  • Liaise with senior managers and Members within and outside the Council and NHS.
  • Have a sound working knowledge of both organisations and the political environment.

Grade and Banding

The grade of this post is H Grade for SIC, and the banding is Band 5 NHS. This post is not career graded.

Joint Funding

This post is joint funded by SIC & NHS. The successful applicant will be able to choose which contract they wish to be employed through.

Relocation Package and Interview Expenses

A relocation package does not apply to this post. We will pay interview expenses from within Shetland.
