About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our UK sales team, reporting to the Head of Sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and converting leads into orders, while building long-term relationships with customers in the GB&I market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategy plans for regions and customers to drive profitable growth and market share.
  • Build account plans and sales strategies tailored to customer needs and growth ambitions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, leading technical and commercial deals.
  • Establish new business, maintain, and penetrate existing business to drive further profitable growth and revenue.
  • Meet or exceed operational requirements, including systematic CRM reporting and sales cost-effectiveness initiatives.
Requirements
  • Relevant sales experience in technical capital equipment, solutions, and service with a short to medium duration sales cycle.
  • Extensive sales/engineering experience with electrical utilities/renewables essential.
  • Good understanding of the Electrical Transmission market, particularly at 132, 275, and 400kV voltage classes.
  • Proficiency in sales planning, CRM utilisation, and forecasting.
  • Willingness to travel, mostly in and around Birmingham, South of Wales, and London areas.
