About the Role

AWE Plc is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Information Manager to join its Information and Knowledge Management team. The successful candidate will assist the Records Manager in prioritizing and managing business requests related to information and records management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of information management policies, standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to the business on information management policies, standards, legislation, and company processes and procedures.
  • Conduct information management audits and assessments to produce performance reports that measure information management compliance, efficiency, and maturity.
  • Deputize for the Records Manager and provide cover in their absence when required.
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality.
Requirements
  • Experience of records and information management is desirable but not essential, as training and development will be provided for the right applicant.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with users and stakeholders at all levels across the business are essential.
  • The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an understanding of the management of information assets throughout their life, from creation to disposal.
