About the Role:

The Maintenance Support Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our luxury retirement village, Eden Court. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for supporting the Maintenance Manager in maintaining all areas within the home on a daily basis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day maintenance of the home, including any faults or repairs that may need to be corrected within your capability and company guidelines.
  • Provide support to all heads of departments in identifying areas that may need alteration or improvement and perform all preventative maintenance tasks to the best of your ability.
  • Ensure that the home is kept to the agreed maintenance standards.
  • Respond in a timely manner to all maintenance requests and concerns raised by residents, family members, and team members according to the home's reporting maintenance request log or system.

Person Specification:

  • Physically and medically able to carry out duties and responsibilities with or without assistive aids.
  • Knowledge of PAT testing is an advantage, although training can be provided.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Fire training or Fire Marshall experience is advantageous.
