Job Title: SEN Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a SEN Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs in a primary school setting.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting children with special educational needs and be comfortable working in environments with challenging needs and behavior. You will be passionate about providing personalized support to pupils and helping them access lessons and build positive relationships with adults and peers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers and pupils in a primary school setting
  • Help keep pupils engaged in their learning and enjoying their time at school
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to pupils with special educational needs
Requirements:
  • Experience in supporting children with special educational needs
  • Comfortable working in environments with challenging needs and behavior
  • Passion for providing personalized support to pupils
  • Availability to work 5 days per week
