Key Responsibilities:
The Transport Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Engaging with various stakeholders, including domestic and international transport providers and the procurement department, to arrange collection and delivery schedules.
  • Managing and organizing driver documentation.
  • Collaborating with the Logistics team to plan deliveries, ensuring the seamless flow of transport within the facility and effective yard management.
  • Establishing and nurturing strong working relationships with team members, suppliers, and clients.
  • Addressing and resolving any transportation challenges, such as delivery delays.
  • Recording and entering data into the ERP system.
  • Guaranteeing the safe transit of materials and goods throughout the facility.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate for the Transport Coordinator position will possess:

  • A solid understanding of transportation operations, particularly in road freight.
  • Experience with customs regulations, especially concerning the export of goods.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities to manage logistics in a dynamic environment.
  • An analytical mindset with keen attention to detail, capable of evaluating processes and identifying issues.
  • The ability to multitask and address challenges in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • A background in Logistics, Distribution, and Supply Chain management.

Compensation and Benefits:
The Transport Coordinator position offers:

  • A competitive salary range of £27,000 to £32,000.
  • 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays (totaling 33 days).
