Financial Operations Manager | Full Time | Competitive Salary

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily management of the financial operations.

Are you the ideal candidate?

  • Qualified in CIMA/ACA/ACCA, or part-qualified with substantial relevant experience
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred

What will your responsibilities entail?

Accounting Duties

  • Complete oversight of the accounting department
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including accounting and tax obligations
  • Organizing and executing payment processes
  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Compiling Year-End Accounts and coordinating with external auditors
  • Leading and mentoring the accounting team

Financial Management Responsibilities

  • Formulating credit control strategies
  • Overseeing cash flow to ensure adequate working capital
  • Managing grants and funding opportunities
  • Collaborating with the Finance Director to establish budgets and financial objectives, and working with senior management to ensure alignment with these goals
  • Providing analytical insights into the financial performance and stability of the organization
  • Partnering with other departments to identify cost-saving measures, revenue enhancement opportunities, and process improvements
  • Ensuring adherence to financial policies and procedures
  • Assisting the Finance Director in the development of financial models
  • Recognizing financial risks and proposing mitigation strategies

ERP System Management

  • General administration of the ERP system
  • Recommending efficient business processes and controls to adapt to organizational changes
