We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Care Assistant to become part of our dedicated and compassionate team at our Residential service.

This position offers permanent contracts with flexible part-time and full-time hours available, accommodating up to 37.5 hours per week. The remuneration for Care Assistants is competitive at £12.25 per hour, equating to £23,888 per annum FTE, with an additional 20p per hour for weekend shifts.

Our service supports individuals with a variety of needs, ensuring that each person receives personalized care tailored to their unique requirements, including complex communication needs and physical health challenges.

Care is provided around the clock, and we pride ourselves on the diverse range of activities and wellbeing initiatives we offer. You will engage in offsite activities, day trips, and holidays, with community outings such as horse riding, bowling, swimming, and music lessons being part of your role. Responsibilities will also include assisting with personal care, administering medication, and performing light manual handling tasks when necessary.

A valid manual UK driving license is essential, as you will be required to use company vehicles to transport individuals to appointments and activities. We offer flexible shift patterns, typically from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with opportunities for sleep-in shifts available as overtime, which will be discussed during the interview process.
