Position: Skilled TIG Fabricator Welder

Our client is seeking a qualified Fabricator Welder to join their team on a contract basis. This role is ongoing, and candidates should be prepared to start shortly after the interview process.

The position offers a diverse range of tasks, primarily focusing on the fabrication of custom items or small batch productions. Typical responsibilities include working with process pipework, equipment, and vessels using TIG welding techniques on stainless steel materials.

Working hours are from 07:00 to 16:30, Monday to Thursday, and 07:00 to 15:30 on Fridays, with opportunities for overtime based on project demands.

The company has established a strong reputation for delivering exceptional quality work and is looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in TIG welding with stainless steel.
  • Ability to fabricate with precision and maintain high standards of workmanship, including polishing as required.
  • Experience in a similar metal fabrication setting, particularly with TIG welding.
  • Capability to interpret and follow detailed drawings and work instructions.
  • Experience working to stringent tolerances, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Previous experience in site work, particularly in pharmaceutical, brewery, or food production environments, with pipefitting skills being advantageous.

A competitive hourly wage is available, commensurate with skills and experience, typically ranging from £22 to £28 per hour.
