We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Waltham Forest Federated GP Network. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality primary care services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct health checks and screenings to identify potential health issues
- Measure and record patient vital signs, including height, weight, and blood pressure
- Perform urinalysis and other diagnostic tests as required
- Provide health promotion literature and education to patients
- Follow infection control standards and protocols
- Contribute to the development of new ideas to improve patient care
- Participate in educational training courses to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to meet patient needs
- NVQ Level 2 or higher in Health and Social Care
- Obtained the Care Certificate
- Experience conducting NHS Health Checks and working in a clinical or patient-facing role within the NHS
- EMIS Web Experience and working knowledge of software packages such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
