Job Summary

Brandon James Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Fire Surveyor to join our team in supporting nationwide projects with Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Developers, and Colleges.

About the Role

The successful Fire Surveyor will work remotely when not on site, aside from visiting our office once a month. The projects are primarily residential, with some education projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct complex risk assessments and have a strong working knowledge of:
  • Retrospective Fire Strategies
  • Building Safety Casework
  • PAS 9980 Assessments
  • Fire Risk Appraisals
  • External Wall Fire Risk Appraisals
  • Fire Door Inspections
  • Strategy reports (retrospective and pre-construction)
  • Approved Document B and latest regulations

Requirements

  • Institute of Fire Prevention Officer (IFPO)
  • Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM)
  • Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE)
