About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our Marine Service & Digital product group, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects within the defined scope, budget, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Design and Development: Participate in the design and development of project components, applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all project activities comply with company standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate project status, issues, and risks to clients, internal teams, and external contractors, addressing feedback and making necessary adjustments to project plans.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, comprehensively documenting progress reports, design documents, and technical specifications.
Requirements
  • Engineering Principles and Project Management: Highly skilled in engineering principles and project management methodologies.
  • Industry Knowledge: Established and advanced skills in project engineering with knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Project Management Software: Adept in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
  • Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Passionate about problem-solving and working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Qualifications: Hold a tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) and be at ease communicating in English.
