Job Description

IMH Recruitment is seeking an experienced Van Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering flooring products to customers' properties in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform door-to-door and curb-side deliveries of flooring products to customers' properties
  • Complete up to 20 drops per day, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products
  • Interact with customers face-to-face, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Assist with route planning and optimization to ensure efficient delivery routes
  • Load and unload heavy goods, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail
  • Deliver products to Reading and surrounding areas, including the South West of the UK

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with no more than 3 points
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
  • Experience delivering heavy goods, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation
  • The ability to lift and move heavy goods, requiring physical strength and endurance

Working Hours and Pay:

  • Monday – Friday: Start 5:00 am – finish usually around 3pm
  • £12.00 per hour
