An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Housekeeper to become part of our dedicated team within the Acute Medicine Unit at NHS Scotland.
The Acute Medicine Unit encompasses a fast-paced environment, including an Acute Medical Assessment area, Ambulatory Emergency Care, and a Medical High Dependency unit.
This position is situated within the Acute Assessment Unit, which admits patients from various specialties around the clock, providing a dynamic and engaging workplace.
As a Housekeeper, you will be a vital member of a large and diverse multidisciplinary team. We are looking for individuals who embody excellent care values, possess a strong sense of teamwork, and maintain a positive attitude.
Enthusiasm for personal and professional development is essential, as is the ability to thrive in a challenging and high-pressure environment. Strong communication and organizational skills are key attributes for this role.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the ward, supporting the healthcare team effectively.
This role requires flexibility, with working hours covering a 7-day period on a rota basis.
While prior experience in a similar role is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement.
