Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at 5 Star Recruitment. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting residents with their daily care needs, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. You will also be involved in the organization of social activities and providing emotional support to residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily care needs, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
  • Organize and participate in social activities to promote residents' physical and mental well-being
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Help maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Report any changes in residents' medical or physical condition to the Manager/Senior in charge
Requirements:
  • Caring and patient attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and night shifts
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to residents with varying needs. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • £12.00/hour (regular)
  • £13.00/hour (regular nights)
  • £14.00/hour (Saturdays and Sundays)
  • £17.00/hour (Bank Holidays)
