Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our Finance Team at The Veterinary Defence Society. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Management Accountant and assisting with the Purchase and Sales Ledger functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage Purchase and Sales Ledger transactions
  • Collate and organize payment runs, including payment allocation and claims processing
  • Perform credit control and other administrative tasks as required
  • Handle accounts queries and reconcile statements
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • AAT qualified or equivalent experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable with financial concepts and terminology
