Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in providing person-centered rehabilitation services to individuals with complex brain injuries. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement evidence-based rehabilitation programs that promote maximal independence and participation in social, leisure, and vocational activities.

About the Role:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to individuals with complex brain injuries, including cognitive, behavioral, physical, and emotional difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans that address all aspects of recovery and promote maximal independence.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support to individuals with brain injuries.
  • Participate in service development and research initiatives to improve the quality of care and services provided by our organization.
  • Supervise and train other occupational therapists and staff members to ensure high-quality care and services.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in occupational therapy and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience in neurological rehabilitation and ability to work autonomously with complex caseloads.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills, with ability to formulate complex risk assessments.
  • Valid UK driving license and ability to travel to various locations.
