Position Overview:

As a Lead BMS Commissioning Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning of advanced Building Management Systems (BMS) for large-scale and intricate projects, particularly in the sectors of Life Sciences and Data Centers across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage directly with clients on-site throughout all phases of commissioning, with travel requirements expected to be around 80%.
  • Utilize your extensive experience (8+ years) in commissioning complex BMS Mechanical Control Systems, showcasing your formal training and expertise during the interview process.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in developing BMS Software and Graphics, with experience in platforms such as:
    • EcoStruxure™ BMS Building Operation by Schneider Electric
    • Niagara Tridium
    • Siemens Desigo or Apogee
    • Johnson Controls Metasys
    • Honeywell Building BMS Systems / Trend Controls
    • PLC Platforms for Mechanical Control Systems in Buildings
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Operations Manager and local stakeholders to coordinate and execute commissioning activities effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure accountability for the execution of commissioning tasks.
  • Participate in daily on-site meetings, representing the commissioning team and ensuring alignment with engineering standards and documentation across all projects.
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues and adherence to project schedules.

Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience in commissioning large EMPS / ENMS Systems and familiarity with ASHRAE commissioning standards.
  • Multilingual capabilities and experience in multicultural environments are highly desirable.
  • Strong command of written English is essential.

Role Expectations:
  • Thoroughly review project scope, schedule, design, and health and safety requirements.
  • Implement project deliverables through commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with design and engineering specifications.
  • Support and mentor other commissioning engineers, facilitating coordination with third-party vendors and stakeholders.
  • Conduct detailed checks and testing of systems, ensuring all components are operational and compliant with design specifications.
  • Provide regular progress reports and forecasts for upcoming commissioning activities.
