We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in cost assurance, commercial and financial analysis, and contract management. You will have a proven track record of providing commercial and financial assurance and verification of costs on a range of projects in different sectors.
- Experience of NEC3/4 contracts
- Experience of working with corporate risk and audit functions
- Experience of cost verification, internal/external audit, financial reviews on significant infrastructure and construction projects
- Clear and effective communication skills - both oral and written
- Methodical way of thinking and approach to work
- Good organisational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changing environments
- Excellent problem, negotiating, finance, and numeracy management skills
- Sound ICT skills, with a good level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in data analysis tools such as Power BI
- Experience of contract management and administration systems
- Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily
- Ability to work as part of a team, and/or to lead a team, depending on level
MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or relevant practical experience is desirable.
