Accounts Payable Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Operational Finance division. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate payment to suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries
  • Coding and reporting to ensure accurate financial operations
  • Reconcile supplier statements and calculate VAT
  • Authorise and prepare payments to suppliers
  • Maintain up-to-date records and assist with petty cash management
Requirements:
  • Interest in commencing a career in finance
  • Previous experience in transactional finance (Accounts Payable) is welcomed but not essential
  • Good numerical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Quick to learn IT systems and excellent communication skills
  • Proactive problem solver and highly organised
