About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Physiologist to join our team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Physiologist in Respiratory Medicine, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory and cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and interpret highly technical investigations, including full pulmonary function testing, hypertonic challenges, bronchial challenges, and CPETs.
  • Assist in the successful running of Cardio-Respiratory services, working closely with a dedicated team of Clinical Physiologists.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of new services and initiatives, working closely with colleagues from across the trust.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in Clinical Physiology, preferably with a BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent. You will also need to be registered with the Royal College of Clinical Physiologists (RCCP) or working towards registration.

Desirable qualifications include postgraduate experience in Clinical Cardio-Respiratory, ILS/ALS, ASCST, and/or MSCST. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
