Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a first point of contact for students seeking confidential advice and information on safeguarding-related concerns.
  • Monitor and manage safeguarding referrals through ProMonitor, ensuring timely and responsive interventions in line with child protection legislation and statutory guidance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date child protection records, adhering to statutory guidance.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with students, particularly those at risk of leaving their course or failing to achieve, to provide support and assistance.
Requirements:
  • Recent experience in a safeguarding role in an education or community setting.
  • Experience working in a post-16 educational environment.
