{"Job Title: Director of Tax Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Compliance Manager to join our team at AVASK Accounting & Business Consultants. Key Responsibilities: * Manage a team of tax professionals and provide high-level VAT advice to stakeholders across the business to mitigate tax risks. * Assist clients with VAT audits and compliance checks, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. * Prepare and perform first-level reviews of quarterly VAT tax returns and annual adjustments. * Manage relationships with tax authorities and partners across Europe in relation to VAT matters. * Develop and implement tax policies, standards, and templates to ensure consistency of good practice and compliance with relevant UK and European law and regulation. Requirements: * Experience working in VAT/accountancy/finance department. * Relevant and recognized ATT/CTA/Tax Law or Law Degree. * Excellent verbal and writing skills. * Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to identify, network with, and manage key stakeholders.
